Patient Referrals Protocols

Preparing to refer a case to WVRC?
Here are a few suggestions to make your referral trouble-free:

1. For the Emergency Service:
   Please call ahead to discuss your case with one of our emergency veterinarians.
   
   
2. For All Other Referrals:
   Call and ask to speak with the department you wish to refer to. Fax, mail (or send along with your client) a Patient Referral Form along with copies of the patient’s records.
   
   
3. Send X-rays if Applicable.
   This can be done by mail, Marshfield Courier or send along with the client.
   
   
4. On all materials submitted, please indicate which Specialist / Department they are for.
